"Nisha is phenomenal, and I say that having worked with Nisha both to sell a home (in San Jose) and buy one (in Los Altos). Without hesitation, I think Nisha deserves this 5 star Yelp rating for several reasons, and I strongly recommend anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Bay Area work with her. Some of the areas where Nisha particularly shines that I will highlight are market knowledge, connections, and personality. Selling and buying during the COVID pandemic definitely made the entire real estate process more complicated. Not only was inventory limited at points, but open houses had been replaced by appointments, increasing the logistic complexities of finding the right home to buy (on top of the already-competitive conditions of the Bay Area housing market!). Despite the hurdles, Nisha worked with me to understand exactly what sort of home and neighborhood I was looking for, and was incredibly flexible and accommodating in finding tour appointment times that worked with both my schedule and hers. As we toured homes, Nisha shared lots of her own personal insight about the neighborhoods to give me a sense of their character along with knowledge about recent sales (both her own and those of other agents) to give me a better sense of inventory, pricing, and potential competition. When touring homes, she'd point out her own observations, but also keenly listened to my own thoughts and feedback. After touring several homes together, it was clear she had internalized what I liked and didn't (as if she was reading my mind), such that she was scouting properties in advance to better guide our search. In the end, it was Nisha's knowledge of an off-market sale she arranged for me to see that ended up being the perfect home for me. Nisha's connections with other agents really opened up the opportunity for the off-market listing that I purchased, but that isn't the only area where Nisha's connections yielded benefits for me. In both selling my prior home and purchasing my current one, work and repairs involving several contractors and vendors were necessary. Not only did Nisha have lists of contractors & vendors on-hand for many trades (e.g., plumber, electrician, pool service, handyman, carpet installer, etc.), she oftentimes handled the entire process of working with them, making things painless for me! Specifically, not only would Nisha contact the vendor to get a bid and schedule the job, but she would meet them at my home while the work was being done, send me pictures as work progressed, and made sure that they would receive payment (I'd leave a check for them). While I'm sure many real estate agents have lists of contractors, I don't know how many go above and beyond the way Nisha did to provide them access to the home and oversee their work. Time is priceless, and Nisha's hands-on approach saved me countless hours. I've already shared high praise for Nisha's market knowledge and connections, but this review would be incomplete without spending a moment to rave about Nisha's spectacular personality. When working with Nisha, she treats you as a human and not just a name on a roster of clients. Nisha is warm, patient, and an excellent listener. Buying a home in the Bay Area can be a frustrating process (high competition, high prices, etc.) and I wanted to feel like my money was being well spent (such that I had a high bar when touring homes); nonetheless, Nisha never made me feel rushed or pressured even after we'd seen 30+ homes together. When working with the sellers, Nisha's personality was a huge help: despite wrinkles outside her control, she successfully ensured all parties remained level-headed during the escrow period. Trust between client and agent is paramount, and I have great trust with and respect for Nisha. Even though I wasn't Nisha's only client when I was selling and buying a home (and am not actively looking now), she did (and still does) make me feel like I am her only client, and I really don't know how she manages to do it so flawlessly. I am proud to call Nisha more than my real estate agent, but also a dear friend. I'm so thankful to have met Nisha and can't recommend her enough to others."
